Must Do: Spring - Tulips
If you're going to visit the Netherlands, Amsterdam in particular, then spring is the time to do so. For so many reasons, the warmer weather, the tourists are yet to be in full flow but above all it is the perfect time to witness the dutch flower in all its glory - The Tulip.
For this reason top on my Spring Must Do list is:
Famously known as the garden of Europe as it is one of the largest flower gardens in the world. With around 7 million bulbs being planted every year comprised of not only tulips but also hyacinths, daffodils, orchids, roses, carnations, irises, and lilies to name a few. It is an incredible experience that doesn't compare to anything I've ever seen before. It is an absolute must see.
